New Conservative Future Branch at UWE

A new branch of the Conservative youth and student organisation Conservative Future is being established at the University of the West of England.

The CF stand at the Freshers Fair at the Frenchay Campus on Thursday 22nd September attracted a great deal of interest, with almost 70 people asking for more information.

A new members drinks evening has been arranged for Tuesday 4th October at one of the campus bars at 8pm.

The aim is to set up a new branch at the university to hold social events, to take part in local campaigns and political discussions and debates with visiting speakers.

Local MP Jack Lopresti who represents Filton and Bradley Stoke came along to help at the stand. Goodybags were handed out to those who signed up. These included a torch, a pen, paper pads, a calculator and a few bits more.

For more details, any students interested in getting involved or coming along next Tuesday should search Facebook for UWE Conservative Future or email
