Mark Prisk MP addresses Bristol businesses

Mark Prisk MP, the Minister of State for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, has been addressing Bristol business leaders at a meeting at Bristol financial giant Hargreaves Lansdown.

Prisk outlined the Government's progress in the financial sector and tackled issues such as lending, deregulation, cutting red tape for British businesses and encouraging more students into engineering professions.

Graham Godwin-Pearson, chairman of Bristol West Conservatives, said, "Mark has a broad portfolio in Government but at every turn he is reducing the burden on firms large and small, stimulating growth and helping to reduce unemployment.

"It was a pleasure to hear him speak in Bristol, where there are some truly innovative companies that need support from their banks, communities and Government."
